Dr George Hall Public School Fundraiser

Scentsy and I are working with the Student/Parent council to raise funds for the school. I am donating my commissions from this fundraiser directly to the school.  The grade 7 and 8's have school trips planned for June 2013.  If you would like to help the school out then visit my website at www.janelee.scentsy.ca and look for the Dr. George Hall party.  It's a save and easy way to enjoy Scentsy.  You can also send Scentsy to a friend or family member too.  If you are having trouble with ordering you can always email or call me your order.

How Scentsy Began In Canada

In October 2009, Scentsy looked beyond its national sales model and opened the doors to selling and recruiting in Canada. In an unusual move for a party plan company, this first international expansion allowed U.S.-based Consultants to sell and recruit across the border. In this way, Scentsy’s values and “spirit” crossed the border as well. New Canadian Consultants received training and support from seasoned Consultants in the U.S., and U.S. Consultants were given an opportunity to grow their businesses. Scentsy showed a profit in Canada in less than three months. At the end of the first quarter of 2010, Scentsy had more than 1,000 active Consultants in Canada.

By the end of the year, Scentsy had spread operations to all 50 United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, and Canada.

In March 2012, alongside the release of the new Scentsy Spring/Summer 2012 Catalogue, Scentsy launched a new product line: Layers by Scentsy, a personal and laundry care line that would allow Consultants and Customers to extend the Scentsy fragrance experience from their skin to their clothes.

Calling all Anglers!!!

I have done fundraising events for several groups and although I donated my commission to them it was a great opportunity to get my name and products out there.  When they need more bars or more chocolate who are they going to call?  Me.  I also participate in the loyality program which give my loyal customers a gift for ordering from me and of course I also offer all my customers free light bulbs for life.

I listened intensely to the sports segment of the news today and both sides seem to want to get back to the rinks.  Hooray!!. If you are having hockey withdrawal like me you can catch some of the Junior or AAA games at your local rinks.  In a few years these could be the next great stars of the game.

In the meantime this is a warmer that your son or daughter may want for their room or your husband's man cave.  It's a neutral colour so will go with any decor.  The light illuminates the hockey player bringing the puck up the ice to take a shot on goal.  Can you tell I am missing the NHL!!

So if you have a hockey nut in your family then this could be the answer to a Christmas or Birthday present.  Or perhaps  away to go to a player who's had a great start to the season!!

We are so lucky to live in a country like Canada.  We have great individuals who enjoy public safety work.  Last year in Scentsy's Hero Collection we only had the Fire Fighter and Police Warmers.  This year they have added two more.  The warmer above is the Royal Canadian Mounted Police warmer with great colours and a wonderful medallion.   On the right is the EMT warmer with a cool blue colour and the EMT signet.  Both warmers are in the premium collection and would make a wonderful gift.

What a great time for Scentsy to have a Buddy Promotion!!

Just in time for Christmas not to mention if you are going to baby shower or know of a mom to be that would love to have one of these buddies making the nursery smell wonderful! Warmer of the Day from the 2012 Christmas Catalogue

This is one of my favourite warmers from the 2012 Christmas Catalogue. The Menorah has the reactive glaze finish. It has that old world charm with the blue and gold colouring not to mention the details on the dish.  The light pours out of the nine candle cut outs which gives it the illusion of real candles.  This is one of the premium warmers so its priced at $42 dollars but is worth every dime.

If you like to decorate or have a friend or family member who loves to decorate their home with everything Christmas this warmer is one to have.

I have often been asked why I choose to promote Scentsy.  Well it's as simple as this.  I really enjoy the smell of Candles but I worry about the possibility of fire.  I would be devastated if I forgot to blow out a candle and it burnt down my home with my beloved dog Sargent in it.  So I found this product and I decided to share it with family, friends and people within my community so that this type of situation can be avoided.  So I will be blogging about the different warmers and scents that Scentsy offers.  So keep checking back to see what I have to offer.
